Impahla does not sell your personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or unrelated third parties. Listing interest is used to improve the platform for buyers, tenants, agents, and sellers-not to build lists for sale.
Infrastructure partners (secure hosting, payments, email/SMS) only receive what they need to run the service, under agreements that limit use. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Account and listing data are stored in a managed cloud database with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, controlled access, and regular backups.
We keep sensitive credentials and admin-only fields on the server so browsers and apps only receive what they need to show you.
- Server-side checks on actions that change or expose data
- Role-based access for owners, agencies, and platform admins
- Agent and agency verification (including FFC where required) before professional listings go live
- Secure sign-in with verified contact details and rate limiting against abuse
Card payments go through specialised payment checkout. Impahla does not store raw card numbers in the application database.
We align with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act: collect what we need, keep it usable for the service, and retain it only as long as required. You can request access, correction, or deletion as set out in our Privacy Policy.
