Compare Properties Guide

Line up homes for sale or to rent side by side-price, size, features, and security in one clear table.

How it works

Step 1: Add listings to compare

On search results or a property detail page, tap Compare (or the compare icon on cards). Selected properties appear in a tray at the bottom of the screen. You can keep browsing-your shortlist stays in that browser.

  • Up to 4 properties at a time
  • Same type only: sale with sale, or rent with rent
  • No account required
Step 2: Open the comparison table

When you have at least two properties in the tray, tap View comparison. You’ll see a full side-by-side table covering:

  • Price, property type, and location
  • Bedrooms, bathrooms, size, and parking
  • Features such as pool, garden, fibre, and pets
  • Security and estate details
Step 3: Decide and dig deeper

Circled checks show what each home has; dashes show what’s missing. Open any column to view photos, the full listing, and contact the seller or agent when you’re ready.

Remove a property from the tray anytime, or clear the whole set to start a new shortlist.

Compare vs favorites

Compare

A focused shortlist (max 4) for a side-by-side table. Ideal when you’re close to choosing between a few options.

Favorites

Save any number of listings to your account with the heart icon. Best for longer-term lists you want to revisit later.

Quick tips

  • Compare homes in a similar price band or suburb so differences stand out.
  • Clear the tray before switching from buy to rent (or vice versa).
  • Your compare list is stored in this browser-use the same device when you return.

Ready to shortlist?
